Abstract

[eng] The ecological bases of a plan for the Swiss Jura in the Bern area - A master plan has been drawn up based on 3 ecological maps : potential water pollution, the priority function of forests, natural vocation of farm areas. This information enables human activities to be organized without harming the natural conditions of the environment. The plan has already provided criteria for political development options. [fre] Un plan directeur a été établi sur la base de 3 cartes écologiques : pollution potentielle de l'eau, fonctions prioritaires des forêts, vocation naturelle des aires agricoles. Ces informations permettent d'organiser les activités humaines sans nuire aux conditions naturelles du milieu. Le plan a déjà fourni des critères pour des options politiques de développement.
