Abstract

[eng] A survey of the future evolution of the demand for meat has important consequences when an agricultural policy has to be defined. The author shows how different the futures of two branches such as beef and pork are. Or course, the influence of imports and exports can make more or less necessary the organisation of the national production. [fre] Une étude de l'évolution future de la demande de viande a des conséquences importantes sur la définition d'une politique agricole. L'auteur montre combien est différent, l'avenir des deux branches : bovins et porcins. Bien entendu, l'influence des échanges extérieurs peut rendre plus ou moins nécessaire l'organisation de la production nationale.
