Abstract

[eng] Bank and stock market : The new frontier . Any study of the relationship between banks and stock markets must inevitably focus on development of their reach and role in the financing of modern economies. Though the latest emerging developments in the French financial industry suggest that the difference between banks and stock markets, in their modern form, tends to be rather blurred, they remain quite distinct both in their structure and organization, and their skills and expertise. . . Classification JEL : G10, G21
