Abstract

[eng] Bancassurance : general acceptance or the decline of the model ? . This article analyzes the development of bancassurance, describing the industrial and commercial logic underpinning it. Extending over extremely diverse national circumstances, the bancassurance model must rise to current and future challenges that are not expected to contribute in harmonizing these situations. These challenges are so imposing that they may enable the general deployment of the model or cause its decline under pressure from new competitive forces. In this sense, the future of bancassurance is a totally open question. . . Classification JEL : G21, G22
