Abstract

[eng] The asset management guide : all that you wish to know . Asset or delegated management - with managed capital about $ 35 trillions, as much as the world GDP - is in the heart of modern economies’ financing. However, this industry is relatively unknown and often identified with only one product : OPCVM (investment fund). This guide tries to explain the asset management’s « ropes » and terminology. In this industry, the manager’s personality and the management’s technique play a great role. This short guide describes and defines basis notions. It highlights specific techniques or innovations and explains the main particularities of delegated management regard to others financial activities. . . Classification JEL : G1, G23, G24
