Abstract

. Classification JEL : G21 [eng] Banking evolution : a taking up process . Integration movements in the financial and banking sector are due to financial globalisation process that forces financial firms to adjust themselves in order to stay competitive. These restructuring are the same than in other industrial sectors. Although this evolution benefits shareholders and customers. It is still unfavourable to employment. These evolutions’ origins are based on the pursuit of a critic size, of a market power, of efficiency and of economies of scale. These banking sector’s transformations ask the question of the future model of bank and of a financial authority. . JEL classifications : G21
