Abstract

[eng] The producer services are to play a more and more important role in industrializing countries. Starting from a case study (Tunisia), the author tries to demonstrate that the levels and modes of demands for producer services are different depending upon whether industrial firms are local or subsidiaries of a multinational company. Yet, the analysis of the results leads to a shaded traditional extraversion of those subsidiaries : in particular, the behavior of demand for services of the « workshop - subsidiaries » is quite different from that of the « relay-subsidiaries ». The latter can, in certain circumstances, be dynamic for the settlement of a local producer services sector.
