Abstract

[eng] The paper presents the main results of a study realized with the support of the DATAR. It examines the potential development of the French industry and agriculture looking forward to the year 1993. The first part of the paper attempts to build a sectorial typology and to classify these sectors in fonction of the 1993 issues. It describes the sectorial situation of the french industry for what concerns the degree of internationalization and the level of competitivity.. The second part of the study is a transposition of the sectorial but national results of the first part at both the regional and sub-regional levels. It is made possible by the availability of new regional statistical data. These data allow to localize the production of the various sectors (branches), and therefore to measure the sensibility of each Region to the 1993 term.
