Abstract

[fre] À partir de l'étude des implantations étrangères dans un secteur déterminé, celui de la Construction Electrique Grand Public, en France, sur 5 ans (1971-1975), il s'agit de mettre en évidence les modifications induites par la multinationalisation des firmes. Les conditions de la concurrence sectorielle se sont modifiées : les F.M. ont des caractéristiques originales par rapport aux autres firmes (taille, frais de personnel, transformation du produit), mais ces différences sont en partie remises en cause (surtout pour la taille) en raison de la concentration. [eng] The analysis of foreign investments in a particular industry - in France, over a 5 years period (1971-1975), shows the modification induced by the multinationalization of enterprises. The competitive conditions have changed: the multinational firms have specific characteristics as compared to the other firms (size, wage bill, transformation of the product) but these differences are partially eliminated (in first place, concerning size) by the concentration process.
