Abstract

[eng] Abstract The «Pasquille about the revolt in Bordeaux and the constable's behaviour», edition and comments of which are proposed in this article, represents an intentionally poly semous text. Despite a host of possible readings, its main problematics can be clearly recognised: the legitimacy of opposition to royal administration and that of repression as a way of resolution of conflict, and, particularly, the tyrannical abuses of constable de Montmorency, the envoy of the king, who refuses any dialogue. In that way, offering to a reader to advance with his own thought due to its opened structure, the Pasquille launches a debate on the limits of power.
