Abstract

[fre] En 1984, un Français sur quatre déclarait «faire de la gymnastique». La gymnastique qui était, dans les années 1960, une activité essentiellement scolaire et militaire, est pratiquée aujourd'hui principalement par les femmes, dans un cadre extra-scolaire, et sous des formes variées. [eng] From military gymnastics and physical education to exercises - In 1984, one French in four claimed to be « doing exercises ». In the sixties gymnastics was essentially done in military settings or as physical education. It is practiced today principally outside the school and any academic setting and mostly by women. [spa] De una gimnasia militar y escolar a una gimnasia multiforme y femenina - En 1984, un Frances de cada cuatro declaraba « hacer gimnasia». La gimnasia, que era en la decada de los 60 una actividad escencialmente escolar y militar es practicada hoy dia principalmente por las mujeres en un mnarco extra-escolar y en formas variadas.
