Abstract

[fre] Les échanges extérieurs de la France en 1956 sont, à première vue, fort différents de ceux de l'année 1955 : la balance du commerce des produits alimentaires est devenue profondément déficitaire, à la suite des gelées du mois de février 1956 ; l'expansion de l'économie, les opérations d'Algérie, puis, en fin d'année, le blocage du canal de Suez, ont augmenté la valeur des importations ou compromis le développement des exportations. Cependant, ces variations n'empêchent pas que soit constatée, en 1955 comme en 1956, la présence sous-jacente d'une structure des échanges dont l'absence permanente d'adaptation aux moyens comme aux besoins de notre économie, reste très préoccupante en 1957.
