Les clauses d'ajustement des salaires aux États-Unis

Abstract

[fre] Parmi les moyens de négociation de salaires qui se sont développés aux États- Unis il en est quatre qui visent à défendre plus ou moins automatiquement le pouvoir d'achat réel des travailleurs. Ce sont, le salaire minimum, l'échelle mobile, la clause de productivité et le salaire annuel garanti. Ils ont suivi des évolutions diverses, et leur domaine varie en raison inverse de la conjoncture, car dans les époques normales, ou prospères, les syndicats américains s'attachent à augmenter plutôt qu'à conserver le niveau de vie des travailleurs.
