Abstract

[fre] La planification indienne est un intéressant exemple de planification démocratique mixte, avec participation d'importants investissements privés, parallèlement au secteur public. Le succès de l'expérience indienne peut déborder largement le cadre de l'Inde et servir d'exemple à bon nombre de pays sous- développés. Le premier plan quinquennal, axé principalement sur l'agriculture et les transports, vient de se terminer et les objectifs ont été réalisés dans une proportion de 87 %. Le second plan quinquennal qui vient de commencer en avril 1956 constitue une étape plus prononcée d'industrialisation. Les besoins en équipement étranger, pour la mise en œuvre du plan indien constituent des débouchés importants et conçus en vue d'un développement à long terme.
