Abstract

[fre] En 1954, le tourisme étranger en France s'est nettement développé par rapport aux années antérieures. Le tourisme global en France, français et étranger, a également marqué un notable progrès. . La saison d'été 1955 a été très satisfaisante au point de vue de l'activité hôtelière et bien meilleure que les deux précédentes. Toutes les régions ont bénéficié de cette amélioration, mais surtout les stations balnéaires, et particulièrement celles de la Méditerranée. Le beau temps est la principale cause de cette progression, maie, non la seule. La saison a été un peu plus longue qu'en 1954, l'afflux de touristes étrangers a marqué un certain progrès. Pour la saison d'hiver 1955-1956, on s'attend à une activité du même ordre que l'année précédente.
