Abstract

[fre] La situation économique de l'Autriche en 1953 comporte des éléments favorables : expansion du commerce extérieur, développement du tourisme, reprise de la production. Par contre, la conjoncture autrichienne a présenté, surtout depuis le début de 1954, certains signes moins satisfaisants, notamment l'aggravation de la situation sur le marché du travail. L'extension du chômage provient, dans une certaine mesure, du ralentissement des investissements qui s'est manifesté en 1953. . L'Autriche, privée des secours E.R.P., a limité son programme de développement économique à deux secteurs : électricité et transports. . Le problème crucial reste actuellement celui du financement des investissements. . Le Gouvernement autrichien s'est efforcé d'attirer les capitaux étrangers, et a fait appel par voie d'emprunt aux disponibilités du marché intérieur, dont il a favorisé le développement par toute une série de mesures d'encouragement à l'épargne.
