Abstract

[fre] Il serait superflu de s'étendre sur l'importance que présentent, dans la vie moderne, les questions de transport. Les relations assurées par le chemin de fer, la marine marchande et, dans une moindre mesure, par la navigation intérieure, sont renforcées d'une manière sans cesse croissante, depuis le début du siècle, par le développement de l'automobilisme et de l'aviation. Certaines techniques plus récentes (notamment l'utilisation des pipe-lines) commencent même à jouer un rôle d'appoint non négligeable. . Quel que soit le mode de transport considéré, il implique l'usage de certaines installations, fixes ou mobiles. A cet aspect matériel sera consacré le premier chapitre. Le trafic fera l'objet du deuxième. Dans un troisième enfin, seront abordés certains grands problèmes auxquels l'actualité confère une particulière importance.
