Na okraj Kantovy etiky

Abstract

Autor se snaží o postihnutí etického rozměru Kantovy filosofie. Nejprve představuje hlavní inspirace filosofovy práce (racionalismus, empirismus), na jejichž základě zkoumá teze Kritiky čistého rozumu nutné k pochopení praktické činnosti a tedy etiky. Seznamujeme se postupně s transcendentální estetikou (prostor a čas), transcendentální analytikou (Verstand, smyslovost) a transcendentální dialektikou (Vernunft, inteligibilní jsoucna). Dále autor ukazuje souvislosti regulativních idejí se svobodou, svobody s povinností a povinnosti s důstojností a úctou, kterou chováme k zákonu, jež si sami dáváme, a uzavírá tím, že "Kantova filosofie tedy osvětluje člověka jako rozumnou bytost, která je schopná dostát zákonům, které si sama určí, a to díky svobodě, ve kterou věří, a povinnosti, ale to jen proto, aby dosáhla důstojnosti skrývající se v jejích možnostech". Tuto dlouhou cestu však autor podniká především proto, aby mohl v "kritickém dovětku" upozornit na nedostatky, které v Kantově etice spatřuje, totiž nedostatečné zdůraznění vztahu ke druhé osobě a myšlenky celistvosti lidské mravní osoby v průběhu času.
