Abstract

Mind - Body problém, jak je obvykle v současné literatuře nazýván, je multidimenzionální a proto umožňuje nejrůznější přístupy. Příznivci fyzikalismu a mentalismu nenacházejí smíření v dualistickém přístupu, ale naopak, dualismus se přičleňuje jako jedna ze soupeřících stran usilující o vysvětlení Mind - Body problému. Neklademe si za cíl této subkapitoly podat přehled o jednotlivých přístupech, ale vyslovit se k meritu věcí. Zastáváme stanovisko, že mysl je samostatnou kvalitou.
