Problém druhého z etického hlediska

Abstract

Každý etický vztah je teoreticky (i prakticky) podmíněn realizací svobody v první (Já) i druhé (Ty) osobě a jejich zprostředkujícího pravidla (Ono). Tento článek se zaměřuje na problematiku toho "druhého", který bývá často neprávem vnímán jako méně důležitá a podstatná složka etického vztahu. Celé dějiny lidstva nás však neustále přesvědčují o tom, že onen žádoucí stav všeobecné svobody, rovnosti a volnosti zůstane vždy jenom nenaplněným snem, pokud svoboda jednotlivce nebude pro něj samého automaticky spojena s dobrovolným poskytováním stejné míry svobody každému "druhému" jednotlivci tak, aby mohly být kdykoli a kdekoli mezi těmito subjekty navázány smysluplné etické vztahy. Existují dokonce přístupy - a o jednom z nich pojednává druhá část článku, - které staví z hlediska filosofického počátku etiku před ontologii a v rámci etiky pak dokazují, že Ty má přednost před Já, jinými slovy - ve filosofii jde vždy o věc druhého. V neposlední řadě je věnována pozornost i neosobním předpokladům navázání a realizace etického vztahu (pól Ono).
