Aristotelovo pojetí pohybu

Abstract

Pohyb je pro dějiny filosofování fundamentálním problémem z mnoha důvodů. Především v rámci ontologického postoje se totiž pohyb ukazuje jako zásadní způsob zmocnění se a porozumění otázce po Bytí a jejího smyslu. Parmenides je myslitelem, který otázku po Bytí nastolil, snažil se Bytí uchopit a zároveň se tak zmocnil i problematiky Pohybu. Jeho porozumění (z téze, že Nebytí-Nejsoucí není, vyplynuly dva zásadní závěry: Bytí je Jedno a Pohyb není) se stalo hybným motivem dalšího řeckého filosofování, které reaguje na Parmenidovy závěry skrze Demokrita a především Platona. Tito myslitelé odmítnutím Parmenidova závěru "jednosti Bytí" vpouštějí do skutečnosti Nebytí a tím i Pohyb (jelikož Pohyb jest souvislostí Bytí a Nebytí). Na tyto reakce poté navazuje v jistém smyslu Aristotelovo řešení problému Pohybu.
