Cross-border mergers

    Abstract

    This article summarizes general changes in the European and Czech law system that have been made during the recent years to simplify the process of cross-border mergers and frank all companies in EU to the European single market. The pack of changes contains mainly the institutions of the European transnational types of legal entities (Societas Europaea, Societas Cooperativa Europaea) and also the Cross-border mergers Directive that has been implemented this year into the Czech legal order.
