Abstract

The social responsibility concept is quite broad and relies on three pillars - economical efficiency, environmental responsibility and social involvement. In recent years we have lived in a world of rising interest in the isssues of social responsibility, that is supported not only by the multinational and international organizations, the European Union and the governments but also by the firms themselves. At present, when we are facing the economic crisis, a widely spread support of CSR is being tested again. Not only because of the above reasons, it is necessary even in the future to look for other ways which could contribute to implementation of CSR ideas into daily practice of business sphere in the Czech Republic. This way, CSR would become an integral part of their corporate strategy in the long term.
