Abstract

Management practices and methods have changed over the last decade and will continue to change. Management control systems it needs methods and modern techniques to support managers in making decisions Activity Based Management it is a method that is focusing on the management of activities within business processes as the route to continuously improve both the value received by customers and the profit earned in providing that value. ABM uses activity based cost information and performance measurements to influence management action. People undertake activities which consume resources – so controlling activities allows you to control costs at their source
