Abstract

Analysis of the degree of social and economic welfare of the nation, is a constant concern of analysts from around the world. The relationship between economic growth and social development represents an important scientific and political theme, especially for the former socialist countries of Eastern and Central Europe, it faces at present, with the difficulties of transition, using relatively common strategy of restructuring and transformation of their economic and social structures.
