Abstract

This paper analyses what Luigi Sturzo thinks on the personality, the thought and the social action of Giuseppe Toniolo. In this perspective, we try to point out the commonalities and the disagreements between their attempts of applying the Catholic faith to the economic, political and social reality. We try to understand as long as the disagreements are related to a different sensibility and how much to the personal histories and the evolution of the historical context successive to the Toniolo’s death.
