Abstract

This essay examines Giuseppe Toniolo’s main bibliography, with particular attention to biographical events, different steps of his educational path, his works, his scientific method and spirituality, the role he played in nationalwide and worldwide Catholic movement. This bibliographical work also analyses the relationship between Toniolo and the Catholic hierarchy as well as the one between ethics and economics, Thomism and Neo-Scholastic, medievalism, corporatism, statistics, social, theological, legal, political and above all economic thought, without excluding academic activity and promoting cultural institutions.
