I testi di scienza delle finanze dopo l'acquisizione dello «status» di disciplina scientifica autonoma (The public finance textbooks after the acquisition of the status of autonomous scientific discipline)

Abstract

Some public finance textbooks, published between the last decades of the nineteenth century and the end of the liberal age in Italy, highlight characteristics of value and originality owing to the significance of the scientific contributions of their authors. In the paper, it is carried out an appraisal of all textbooks examined, considering, for each textbook, both the extent of diVerent topics and their specific characteristics.
