Evaluation Of The Usefulness Of Abstract Thinking As A Manager’S Competence

Abstract

This paper refers to the problem of teaching students of management abstract thinking skills and tools that support this matter. A research carried out on a group of students, aimed at evaluating respondents attitude towards abstract perception of the reality, their professional career visions and willingness towards self-development. Additionally, it presented the possible application of these competences. It was showed that respondents have ambitious career plans and are ready to improve their skills in the discussed subject. From the results of the research it was also argued that the respondents’ positive attitude towards abstract thinking competence has increased.
