Un modelo de política económica de corto plazo, empleo e ingresos: Perú, 1983

Abstract

El modelo descrito en este documento es un modelo de política econó- mica de corto plazo y fue construido para detectar los resultados esperados, sobre el empleo y los ingresos, de la política de ajuste interno a la muy inten- sa restricción externa enfrentada por la economía peruana en 1983. Se trata de un modelo de compatibilización de corto plazo, elaborado para captar los principales fenómenos exógenos, las políticas instrumentales de corto plazo y la reacción de comportamiento de los principales agentes en Perú en 1983. En este sentido, su relevancia es acotada a dicha realidad y a di- cho período. Los rasgos estilizados que se intenta modelar corresponden al Perú de 1983 y no son extrapolables a otras experiencias.
