Un modelo para la planificación del sector externo en el Perú

Abstract

De los problemas que plantea la estrategia de1 desarrollo industrial, el que ha concitado la mayor atención y al cual se han dedicado muchos esfuerzos teóricos y empíricos es: el rol de la industrialización mediante políticas de sustituci6n de importaciones, (ISI); versus las políticás de industrialización mediante la promocion de exportaciones, (EPI). Existe actualmente un consenso cada vez más generalizado de que tal dicotomía entre estas dos estrategias y que la particular estrategia de desarrollo que un país puede elegir depende de la disponibilidad de recursos, de su particular evolución histórica y de sus necesidades futuras.
