Place-based Globalism: Theorizing the global justice movement

Michal Osterweil argues that although there is a broad consensus about the fact that the global justice movement is comprised of a diversity of political approaches, the more subtle and radical differences in political practices and visions among various actors are often not visible. She suggests this is because while we might all agree that the global nature of this movement is crucial, defining globality and what the politics of a global movement are still a matter of great debate.
