  • John Bowis

Abstract

John Bowis reflects on his years of experience working on mental health with the WHO Global Campaign, Nations for Mental Health. He argues that mental health is a major concern for all countries and that Governments and health services must give mental health a much higher priority in order, most importantly, to end the stigma surrounding mental disability. Development (2004) 47, 131–135. doi:10.1057/palgrave.development.1100040
