Cartografiar el capitalismo cognitivo para mitigar la museificación de la ciudad

Abstract

El objetivo del artículo es mapear las modificaciones que ha ido sufriendo el capitalismo cognitivo para entender la ciudad contemporánea. En primer lugar, se intentará articular conceptualmente una herramienta de abordaje que permita percibir las problemáticas culturales urbanas actuales. Asimismo, se propondrá reconstruir la genealogía del turismo en referencia al ocio, indagando las diversas transformaciones que ha sufrido la actividad y profundizando el complejo entramado de realzamiento que se impulsa en las ciudades contemporáneas con el propósito de museificar la ciudad, para lo cual se establece un nexo medular entre la cultura del consumo y la industria del turismo. Por último, se promoverá una postura crítica y reflexiva que habilite las posibles alternativas para mitigar dicha museificación.
