The Management of the Credit Institutions in the Context of the Elaboration and Implementation of the Banking Strategy
AbstractThe success of a credit institution is mainly due to tenacity and to a large dose of creativity which may manifest itself both at the level of superior management and among the performers in the activity of solving the problems encountered and in the process of formulating the overall strategy. According to the international standards in order to be considered truly modern banks, the Romanian banking institutions are required to submit a strategic program, and therefore within the major commercial banks there were set up departments of strategy that deal with the elaboration and implementation of strategic programs.
