Abstract

Un droit et une politique de la concurrence efficaces sont indispensables pour obtenir une amélioration des niveaux d’efficience économique, de croissance et d’emploi ainsi que des conditions de vie. Des réformes favorables à la concurrence et une application pertinente du droit de la concurrence se sont traduites par des baisses de prix spectaculaires, une prolifération de nouveaux produits, une amélioration de la qualité et des services et une plus grande innovation, partout où elles ont été pratiquées. Surtout, peut-être, elles sont étroitement liées aux éléments déterminants de la croissance et du développement économiques que sont notamment l’investissement, la gouvernance, la culture de l’esprit d’entreprise, la privatisation et les échanges.
