Abstract

This research aimed to identify the current model of production of the audiovisual sector, considering the TV activities, video and film, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, applying the model of Triple Helix, due to declines in public and private investment, which moved the state to 11th position in this sector in the creative industry. Using a qualitative approach, the exploratory study used in-depth interviews with semi-structured applied to actors in the audiovisual production sector between industry spheres, government and university, from the perspective of innovation. The final results indicated that the audiovisual sector in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, can’t be considered an innovation system, but your industry model is in the process of evolution, from a combination of previous models, statesman and part laissez-faire tending to the model of the theory of Triple Helix. Point is, opportunities for future work.
