Zunehmende Arbeitsmarktrisiken für Geringqualifizierte - Herausforderungen und Handlungsoptionen

Abstract

Die Arbeitsmarktchancen von geringqualifizierten Personen haben sich in den letzten Jahrzehnten dramatisch verschlechtert. Schlaglichtartig betrachtet der Beitrag einige der bildungs- und sozialpolitischen Herausforderungen, die sich aus dieser Entwicklung ergeben. Er plädiert unter anderem für weit reichende Reformen der vorschulischen und schulischen Bildung, um die Bildungschancen von Kindern aus niedrig gebildeten Elternhäusern zu verbessern. Zudem befürwortet der Beitrag Verbesserungen im Bereich der nachholenden Berufsausbildung und im Zugang zu (betrieblicher) Fort- und Weiterbildung. Abschließend regt er eine stärkere Auseinandersetzung mit der drohenden Zunahme der Altersarmut unter den Geringqualifizierten an.in: WSI-Mitteilungen , Seiten 44-46
