Vom Bohren dicker Bretter - Zur gewerkschaftspolitischen Relevanz der Lidl-Kampagne

Abstract

Innerhalb von ver.di werden zunehmend Debatten über Organizing-Strategien geführt. Aktuelle Erfahrungen mit Organizing- und Kampagnenkonzepten bietet hierbei die Lidl-Kampagne. Der Artikel skizziert zentrale Merkmale der Kampagne und zieht nach drei Jahren erste Schlussfolgerungen. Mit der Lidl-Kampagne will ver.di zu handlungsfähigen Betriebsräten, eigenaktiven Gewerkschaftsstrukturen und einer nachhaltigen Verbesserung der Arbeitsbedingungen bei dem Discounter beitragen. Die Kampagne ist zum einen darauf angelegt, durch bundesweite und internationale Aktionen, Mobilisierung und Bündnisarbeit Druck auf die Unternehmensführung auszuüben. Zum anderen unternimmt ver.di systematische Organisierungsanstrengungen. Über das Konzept der "Filialbegleitung" durch ehrenamtliche und hauptamtliche Organizer werden Beschäftigte und Filialbelegschaften gezielt bei ihren Aktivitäten und Betriebsratswahlen unterstützt. Dabei kann auf erste Erfolge verwiesen werden.
