Kündigungsschutzreformen und Gerechtigkeit - Einstellungen der Erwerbsbevölkerung

Abstract

Im Rahmen der aktivierenden Arbeitsmarktreformen wurde auch der allgemeine Kündigungsschutz dereguliert. Weitere Reformschritte sind geplant. Der Beitrag untersucht die Akzeptanz von Kündigungsschutzreformen in der deutschen Erwerbsbevölkerung. Die Analyse konzentriert sich auf den Einfluss von Gerechtigkeitsvorstellungen, da diese auch der legitimatorische Bezugspunkt der durchgeführten und geplanten Deregulierungen des Kündigungsschutzes sind. Die Befunde zeigen, dass mehr als zwei Drittel der Erwerbsbevölkerung den Erhalt oder Ausbau des gesetzlichen Kündigungsschutzes bevorzugen. Darüber hinaus bestätigt sich - mit unterschiedlichen Ausprägungen in Ost- und Westdeutschland - die Vermutung, dass für die Akzeptanz von Kündigungsschutzreformen die jeweiligen Vorstellungen einer gerechten gesellschaftlichen Verteilungsordnung wie auch konkrete betriebliche Erfahrungen mit Personalabbau maßgeblich sind.
