Sprich (nicht) drüber - Fürsorgearbeit von Migrantinnen in deutschen Privathaushalten

Abstract

Viele deutsche Haushalte nehmen heute transnationale Dienstleistungen in Anspruch, und zwar nicht nur als Serviceleistungen, die in Billiglohnländer verlagert werden, sondern in Form von personalisierter Arbeit im Privathaushalt, die von Migrantinnen verrichtet wird. Dieser Artikel beschreibt die Bedeutung der Migrantinnen für die Absicherung von Fürsorgearbeit in Deutschland. Dabei geht es sowohl um die hiesigen Erscheinungsformen dieser Arbeit und ihrer rechtlichen Grundlagen als auch um die Betrachtung des Phänomens im internationalen und europäischen Kontext. Differenzen und Gemeinsamkeiten im Vergleich zur deutschen Situation werden herausgearbeitet. Der Artikel erläutert die unterschiedlichen Interessen der beteiligten Akteurinnen im Bereich haushaltsbezogener Dienstleistungsarbeit und stellt fest, dass dieses Phänomen Kernfragen der Geschlechtergerechtigkeit berührt.
