Eremiten, Experten, Coaches oder Hofnarren – Welche beratende Rolle steht den betriebswirtschaftlichen Forschern für die Praxis am besten an?

Abstract

Management research and business practice form separate provinces of meaning for social interaction that have only limited overlaps. Members from one province feel called to enlighten those of the other province. Occasionally, they take note of such efforts to educate people with gratitude, but more often they take note of them with little or disdain. In this constellation, there are various roles for business educators that they can take on in an advisory role in relation to practice. Each is based on a different relationship between consultants and clients, and is associated with its own opportunities and risks - for both sides.
