Análisis del desempeño exportador del sector vinícola argentino

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el desempeño de las exportaciones argentinas del sector productor de mostos de uva y vinos del país, en el período 1998-2017. Se utilizó una herramienta descriptiva (análisis de cuota de mercado constante) para descomponer el crecimiento de las exportaciones argentinas en dos efectos: el primero relacionado con fuerzas de demanda y, el segundo, con variables de oferta. Los resultados arrojaron la fuerte dependencia de la demanda de cada uno de los destinos más relevantes. A su vez, mientras imperó un contexto externo favorable que se tradujo en un efecto escala positivo, y perduraron las buenas condiciones económicas y políticas internas, resultó que la competitividad generó ganancias significativas.
