Costeo directo, mundo del valor y programación lineal

Abstract

Este artículo presenta una comparación entre el Abordaje del Mundo del Valor propuesto por Eliyahu M. Goldratt (1992) en el libro titulado A síndrome del palheiro: garimpando informação num océano de dados (El síndrome del pajar: cómo extraer información del océano de datos) y la Programación Lineal. Se utiliza para la comparación el caso de la optimización de un mix de producción con restricciones en el proceso y en el mercado. Se muestra que el Abordaje de las Ganancias, conceptualmente, no aporta nada al marco teórico del Costeo Directo. En cuanto al análisis gerencial, el Abordaje del Mundo del Valor, aunque tenga el mérito de reorientar los esfuerzos gerenciales para los objetivos de la empresa - ganar más dinero en el presente y en el futuro - presenta resultados inferiores en relación con los obtenidos con el uso de la Programación Lineal, fundamentando este concepto en un ejemplo propuesto por el propio Goldratt.
