Abstract

En el último cuarto del Siglo XX emerge un nuevo enfoque sobre el desarrollo que se propone como respuesta al proceso de integración económica y al aumento de la competencia entre las empresas, los países y las regiones. Este nuevo enfoque, comúnmente llamado desarrollo endógeno, ha producido un cambio significativo en las políticas económicas orientadas a incidir en la dinámica económica local. Basándonos en esta consideración, el objetivo del artículo es exponer las teorías sobre la endogeneidad del desarrollo.
