Organization Of The Vocational-Practical Training Of The Students In The Tourism Major At The University Of Economics – Varna

Abstract

In the recent years, one of the most discussed topics in the Bulgarian tourism sector is binding tourism with practice. The ever growing necessity of well trained human resources, both in theoretical and practical aspect, is turning most likely to be one of the key problems of the Bulgarian tourism. In this regard, the issue of the vocational-practical training of students is considered as extremely pressing and of particular importance for the higher education in tourism. The author’s aim in the present paper is to direct the attention of the readers towards the role of vocational-practical training for forming of competitive and professionally oriented human resources who have a high degree of adaptability on the needs of the labor market.
