Ethno-histoire récente et situation contemporaine des Évènes de la région Bystrinskij (Kamtchatka central, Extrême-Orient russe, 2004)

Abstract

Le Kamtchatka central est l’habitat d’un groupe d’éleveurs de rennes évènes longtemps resté à l’écart de contacts extérieurs et ayant constitué une enclave ethnique jusque dans les années 1940. Le recueil, en 2004, de témoignages et de données anthropo-démographiques sur la population autochtone de Bystrinskij permet de mieux connaître l’histoire récente de cette région de l’Extrême-Orient russe demeurée interdite aux étrangers jusqu’en 1990. Principalement centrée sur la petite agglomération d’Anavgaj, qui porte l’appellation de « village national évène », cette étude présente un aspect des conséquences des politiques soviétiques et postsoviétiques sur les minorités ethniques de Russie.
