Solidarités générationnelles et féminines dans la migration roumaine en France

Abstract

Après l’immobilisme forcé d’avant 1989, les parents de migrants sont nombreux à assumer un rôle complexe de médiateurs entre deux univers culturels en pratiquant une mobilité active. Une série de témoignages recueillis en autocar entre la Roumanie et la France (seize trajets entre avril 2005 et avril 2008) nous ont amenée à nous intéresser à la solidarité intergénérationnelle au sein des familles roumaines dans le cadre de la migration. La contribution des femmes à la réussite du projet migratoire semble perpétuer une distribution des activités selon le sexe. L’attachement à des rôles traditionnels peut cependant donner naissance à des configurations familiales innovantes dans ce contexte de mobilité transnationale.
