Abstract

The use of the so-called big data has been growing in the past years while its implication for the analysis appears fragmented across the disciplines. In this study we deeply explore the TripAdvisor source looking at its usefulness for monitoring the characteristics of the Heritage sites. We consider both Colosseum and Pantheon addressing their relevance across the years. At the same time, we deeply investigate the non-positive comments provides by the TripAdvisor ’s users searching for fruitful information to improve the management of the Heritage sites
