Bathroom and wellness in Europe

Abstract

In 2010, the European bathroom furniture, furnishing and wellness market (including furniture, accessories, WC seats, showers and wellness segments) was worth Euro 5 billion at factory prices, remaining stable if compared to the previous year but showing a big decline (-14%) if compared to 2008 values. The export capacity of the European firms decreased over the last two years reaching 28% of the total production in 2010.
